Using EchoInk
Scanning is free and does not require an account. Opening the camera means you agree to these terms and acknowledge the privacy notice. Registration and management require an active studio-issued account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Permission and public sharing
Scan another person’s tattoo only with their permission. Register only photos, tattoo designs and attached content you own or have permission to use and share. Saving an active tattoo makes its title, recognition data, isolated shape and attached content accessible to visitors. Original recognition photos and account details are not part of the public scanner catalog.
Acceptable content
Do not submit unlawful, abusive or misleading content, private information without consent, malicious links, or material that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not attempt to bypass account controls or disrupt the service. The studio may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms.
Recognition and external content
Results may be incomplete or incorrect, and only registered active tattoos can be found. A match is not proof of anyone’s identity or ownership. Availability and speed can vary by device, connection and collection size. External links open third-party sites with their own terms and privacy practices; review the destination before opening it.
Managing your tattoo
You or your studio can edit or remove saved tattoos through account controls. Removal prevents new catalog access but cannot undo copies already downloaded by visitors. Contact the studio that manages your account for account or content concerns.
